Hey, I’m Kevin.
I live in the Houston area and I’m a travel advisor. I specialize in first-time cruisers and families, the folks who want to go but don’t want to mess it up. I’ll help you pick the right ship, the right room, and the right dates, and I’ll be the one you text when you have questions before you sail. I’ve sailed on 7 cruises myself, and I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort 11 times and Disneyland® Resort 8 times, so I know the tricks that make a trip go smooth.

FIRST-CRUISE WORRIES
Worried about getting seasick?
It’s the number one worry I hear from first-timers, and it’s a fair one. Good news: today’s big ships have stabilizers to cut down on the rocking, and on a calm day a lot of folks barely feel a thing.
My personal pick: Reliefband. It’s an FDA-cleared, drug-free wristband that sends a gentle tingle to a nerve in your wrist. It’s what I use, and it’s worked for me every single time with no side effects. That’s my experience, not a promise; everybody’s different.

Other options folks use:
Dramamine Original (dimenhydrinate): over the counter, but it can make you sleepy.
Dramamine Less Drowsy (meclizine): over the counter, taken once a day.
Scopolamine patch: prescription only. It goes behind your ear a few hours before you sail.
Sea-Bands, ginger, and fresh air with your eyes on the horizon help some folks, too.
Cabin tip: If you’re prone to it, book a room midship on a lower deck. That’s where you’ll feel the least motion.
